The China Auto After-sales Market Entrepreneurs Boundless Summit and AMR High-end Cocktail Party were successfully held in Shanghai. The event adopted a comfortable, free, and open "TED TALK" speech format to disseminate leading-edge thinking and establish a platform for top-level management discussions. Our Managing Consultant, Ms. Addie Wei, delivered a speech titled "The Roadmap of Chinese OEMs Going Global and Opportunities in the Chinese After-sales market.“

In her presentation, Ms. Wei highlighted that, with the continuous growth in market share of intelligent electric vehicles, the relationship between car companies and after-sales service providers is undergoing a reshaping process. This transformation involves transitioning from the previous model of single service provision to a collaborative development approach, personalized customization, and close cooperation model. From a segmented perspective, businesses related to fuel engine parts repair and maintenance are expected to decline while opportunities still exist for wheel hub, brake system, battery replacement, and other related services. Additionally, accident maintenance, personalized modifications, and specialized tires for electric vehicles will become key areas for exploration.

Considering these developments, Ms. Wei proposed strategic implications for after-sale service enterprises. She believes that traditional parts manufacturing enterprises should proactively address disruptive trends in automotive electrification and intelligent industry as well as new green and low-carbon requirements by focusing on market strategic positioning over the next 5-10 years. It is recommended to formulate 2-5 medium-term business goals while continuously promoting ongoing transformation and upgrading through executable programs within 1-2 years.
