During the conclave, Dr. Raut delivered a presentation titled “Unlocking Feedstock Potential for CBG: Opportunities in Maharashtra.” The session highlighted the evolving feedstock landscape in the state and reinforced a critical point for project viability: availability alone is not sufficient. What ultimately drives bankable CBG projects is accessibility, aggregation efficiency, and a reliable, continuous supply of surplus feedstock.

Strengthening these elements will be essential to building a robust feedstock ecosystem and enabling scalable clean fuel investments in Maharashtra.

The presentation was part of the session titled “Strong Policy and Infrastructural Ecosystem.” The session also featured presentations by Mr. Ashish Kumar, Managing Director, Verbio, and Dr. Shobhit Srivastava, Deputy Programme Manager, CSE.

The session was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Mr. Atul Kharate, COO, Indian Oil Adani Ventures, with distinguished speakers from across the industry, including:

  • Dr. Gaurav Mishra, Sr. Director / Scientist F, MNRE
  • Mr. Praveen Pardeshi, Chief Executive Officer, MITRA & Chief Economic Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister
  • Mr. Inderjit Singh, Director, Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), Government of Uttar Pradesh
  • Mr. Atul Mulay, Chairman, Bioenergy Committee of IFGE & President Bioenergy, Praj Industries
  • Mr. Sabyasachi Kumar, Product Head (FO CBFS & LSHS), Reliance Industries Limited
